Policy Seminars
In order to maximize the local economic impact of the cluster initiatives carried out, a series of meetings or seminars are held by the consulting team, headed by Competitiveness' International Experts. These are used to highlight the lessons learned from completed CRIs and from subsequent follow-up and monitoring. The seminars are intended to assist policymakers in refining national and regional horizontal policies based on the needs and realities of local clusters. Thus, participants should include a broad cross section of relevant local public and private sector stakeholders. Policy seminars typically occur once per year as part of the Regional Competitiveness Reinforcement Program and may take the form of roundtables, presentations, or more informal discussions.
